Charisma Cardz Challenge # 44 - Sketch

Morning all!

Yep its that time of week where its challenge time at Charisma!!

This week, the challenge is down to me, so I decided to do a sketch as I have never produced one before - I hope you like it!Our Sponser this week is:

Simon Says Stamps

They are offering the winner a $20 voucher for their shop, it's full of amazing products some of which you can't get in the UK so hop on over for a browse and choose what you'd like if you do win this week!

Here is my creation.

I kinda adapted my creation to not have a bit down the side as it looked a bit odd being this size of card. Also made the three features on the left hand side be like the swoosh of the ball moving!

Recipe:

  • Football - download from the lovely Vee
  • football brads from stash
  • Dynamo sentiment
Hope to see you all over there making the card and supporting my first ever sketch!!

Helllooo...again!!

So sorry for going AWOL again, it wont happen again I promise.

Was just looking through some pics of cards I have made and found this one that I hadn't put on here yet. It was for a Tinkerbell fan...

I will be doing many more cards in the next few weeks as I have got a craft fair or two to attend in November / December, so if anyone has any ideas on the things I should be selling, that would really be appreciated!!

I have made this card for a new friend that I have met since moving to Dubai. Our hubbies work together and she is giving me cooking lessons as well as keeping me sane!!

Recipe:
  • fabric flowers from ebay
  • ribbon recycled from dress
  • pearls from Artymiss
  • sentiment done on a Dynamo machine (my new toy!)
Thank you to the very lovely Chris who explained to me how to do the ribbon like this!! Hope you like it!

How do you do those swirly watermark signatures?

Hi crafters

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend! For once I am actually having a days rest on a Sunday (our weekend is Friday & Saturday in UAE), but as it is Eid, everyone has a nice long public holiday!

Anyway, after doing a bit of blog hopping, I have noticed that so many of you have the gorgeous signature watermarks on your work and I was wondering if anyone could tell me how this is done? Now I am a completely and utter novice at computer programs so an idiots guide would be well appreciated - or does anyone know who does them that I could pay?

Thanks so much xxx

Finally...my craft room!

Hi all

Firstly, can I just say a huge thank you to all of you lovely crafters that have given me fantastic ideas for storing my ribbon. I am planning on sorting them out next week so will put up a pic of my finished creation.

Now, onto my dream....a craft room. When I lived in the UK I used to have to make cards sitting on the side of my bed, and everything was stored in cardboard boxes, so I forgot about 80% of what I had. Then when we moved, I said it would be lovely if I could have a craft room. Hey ho, we chose a house that has a maids room that was an ideal size for a craft room yay!!

Here are some pics (only finished sorting it out like half an hour ago LOL!).

Now I know its not covered in pretty things yet but give me time!! I am just so chuffed to have a desk, and to have my stuff sorted so that I can easily get it!! Everything in the room is from Ikea - those metal filing cabinets were fantastic - just under 20pounds each. Glass jars for the buttons were a pound each and the little jars with dew drops in where 4 for 80p!!

Next challenge is doing the ribbon...!!

Have a fab weekend!
